From the perspective of equipment use, the current should not be too high, and should reach 80% - 90% of the rated current, that is, the reading should be controlled at 23.8-31.5A (18.5kW motor). First adjust the control valve of the shot conveying pipeline so that the current of the eight shot blasters is basically the same, which is controlled at about 30A, and mark the control valve. Adjustment is not allowed without the consent of the process personnel. The best current parameters are selected by throwing different workpieces and adjusting the current for multiple groups of tests. The conclusion is that the effect of shot peening is better when the current is 20-25A, the effect is worse when the current is lower than 15A, and the workpieces are obviously unqualified when the current is lower than 10A, so the current process is set at 15-30A, and the daily control is 20-25A. The control of daily current depends on the amount of pellets. With the progress of production, the shot particles are worn and broken into dust, and the total amount of shot particles is decreasing, and the current is decreasing. It is necessary to add shot particles in time to ensure that the current is controlled within the process range. The supplementary amount of each shift shall be added according to the product of quota and output. In special cases, the supplementary amount shall be added according to the instructions of the technologist.
