The sandblasting room is designed according to the manufacturer's own product processing process and product characteristics. It is mainly used for the application of scale removal and rust removal on the surface of large castings, industrial boilers, ship repair, construction machinery, etc., to further improve the adhesion of the base coating. The main feature of the sandblasting room is that the operator is in the room during the sandblasting process. The protective clothing and helmet can prevent the operator from being impacted by abrasive, and the ventilation device provides fresh air for the operator through the helmet.
The sandblasting room is composed of seven systems including control, lighting, dust removal, work operation room, workpiece conveying, sandblasting and abrasive recovery. It is also an ideal place for derusting the surface of steel structures, weldments and casting parts. The sandblasting system is fully automatic, which solves the dust generated by the sandblasting machine during operation and effectively prevents environmental pollution.
The common sandblasting room is of brick wall structure, with good waterproof performance and shockproof effect. There is wear-resistant rubber protection in the sandblasting room, which can effectively protect other indoor facilities. Steel grating shall be laid on the ground of the sandblasting room to prevent the accumulation of abrasive on the operating platform, which may pose a threat to the safety of sandblasting workers. The abrasive recovery bucket is laid with steel mesh to prevent sundries from entering the shot peening system.
There are safety doors on both sides of the sandblasting room, which can effectively improve the safety of operators, and sandblasting workers can also meet their escape needs in case of danger. There is an observation window in the sandblasting room to keep abreast of the sandblasting progress.
