The painting room is to paint the processed workpiece in an air-filtered closed room. The traditional way of painting is to paint appliances (cars, furniture, etc.) in the open air with a spray nozzle, but this way will reduce the quality of painting for large appliances. For example, the dust in the air will be mixed in the paint during the painting process, thus reducing the quality of painting; Waste paint with uncertainty, and the painting area will be very dirty; For the staff, on the one hand, it will be very dirty, on the other hand, it will inhale a lot of paint mist, which is harmful to the health.

Basic requirements for painting room operation:

1. The setting of the paint booth shall meet the requirements of the specified paint workplace.

2. The paint spraying room shall be equipped with safety ventilation device to ensure the safety of the staff, and the paint mist removal device shall also be installed.

3. When painting operators work, in order to ensure the quality and health of the working environment, the allowable concentration of toxic substances in the air of the workplace should meet the national standards.

4. The organic solvent vapor discharged during the operation of the paint booth shall meet the national standards.

5. The large paint spraying room shall be equipped with not only exhaust system, but also air supply system. In order to ensure the normal operation in winter, the air supply temperature shall not be lower than 120 ℃.

6. In order to avoid static electricity accumulation, the electrostatic spray booth shall be equipped with grounding protection device.

7. The building where the paint booth is located shall be equipped with fire extinguishing equipment as specified.

8. Automatic fire extinguishing system shall be set in large paint spraying room, leveling room and paint mixing room during continuous painting operation.

9. A multi-point combustible gas detector and alarm should be set in the large paint booth, and its lower limit of alarm concentration should be adjusted to 25% of the lower limit of the monitored combustible gas concentration (volume) explosion limit.
