JPG shot blasting machine is first used to remove the sand and oxide scale on the surface of steel castings and iron castings in the casting industry. Almost all steel castings, gray castings, malleable iron castings, ductile iron castings, etc. need to be shot blasted. This is not only to remove the scale and sand on the surface of the casting, but also an indispensable preparation process before the casting quality inspection. For example, the large gas turbine casing needs to be strictly shot blasted before NDT to ensure the reliability of the flaw detection results.

In general casting production, shot blasting cleaning is an indispensable process to find surface defects of castings, such as subcutaneous pores, slag holes, sand sticking, cold shuts, peeling, etc. The surface cleaning of non-ferrous metal castings, such as aluminum alloy and copper alloy, in addition to removing the oxide scale and finding the surface defects of the castings, the main purpose is to remove the sting of the die castings by shot blasting and obtain the surface quality with decorative significance, so as to obtain a comprehensive effect. In metallurgical steel production, shot blasting or acid pickling is a process method to remove phosphorus scale by mechanical or chemical combination to ensure high productivity in mass production of steel. In the production of silicon steel sheet, stainless steel sheet and other alloy steel plates and strips, shot blasting or pickling treatment shall be carried out after annealing in the cold rolling process to ensure the surface roughness and thickness accuracy of cold rolled steel sheet.
